Scott Rotter

Scott Rotter began his legal career working with a relatively large law firm that represented insurance companies in the defense of personal injury claims. As a result of this experience, Mr. Rotter is now able to anticipate an insurance company’s position and the tactics it will employ in many personal injury cases. Instead of waiting for months upon months for the insurance company to investigate a personal injury claim, Mr. Rotter believes that many times the injured victim’s attorney must be aggressive and force the insurance carrier to either take a position on settlement or be prepared to defend a lawsuit.

Mr. Rotter also represents a significant number of injured workers in claims for workers’ compensation benefits. It is Mr. Rotter’s experience that the injured worker often simply waits to see if the insurance carrier will agree to pay benefits. It is our belief that the role of the attorney is to take aggressive action to make certain that the injured worker is receiving wage and medical benefits in such cases. Mr. Rotter appears regularly before the Workers’ Compensation Commission in Maryland to obtain such benefits for his clients.
